The foxtrot is a ballroom dance similar in look to waltz, although the rhythm is in a  4/4 time signature instead of  3/4. Developed in the 1910s, the foxtrot reached its height of popularity in the 1930s, and remains practiced today.

Alyssa Arnold is a lifelong dancer with a range of styles and performance experiences to her name. She served as the Head Coach for the hip-hop dance team in college, choreographing performances for basketball games and traveled to in-state competitions. Latin music had always been a passion, so when the opportunity arose to work for Fred Astaire Dance Studios, the Latin heels went on for training in NYC, plus performing in MA and CT with her professional partner.  To find out more about Alyssa, check out her website
