July 8-12 Summer Dance Week #1, Ages 4-8: Dance, Character, and Costume
9:30am-11:30am (9am early drop-off available) A wonderful week of dancing and imaginative play as children explore dance-making with fairytales and other stories, discovering how to convey character with movement and costume. Additional activities like art-making and games will supplement the week. $150 regular week, $190 with early drop-off SOLD OUT
August 10 Saturday Workshop, Ages 13-18: Contemporary Dance + Improv with Myles Kercher
An Intermediate level workshop exploring expressive dance improvisation, as well as honing technique with contemporary dance. Expect challenging material in a supportive environment, helping young artists unlock their artistic potential. $75, Saturday 12:30pm-4:00pm SIGN UP
August 12-15 Afternoon Workshop #1, Ages 6-9: Ballet Boost Levels I+II
This 4-day workshop offers fun but rigorous ballet classes for Beginner and Beginner-Intermediate students ages 6-9. Included will be stretch and strength training, ballet video viewing, and other fun experiences that support their ballet studies. Led by Sarah Swift, $120 for 4 afternoons, M-Th, 3:30-5:15pm SIGN UP
August 19-22 Afternoon Workshop #2, Ages 10-15: Ballet Boost Levels III+IV This 4-day workshop offers rigorous ballet classes for Intermediate and Intermediate-Advanced students ages 10-15, with minimum 2 years prior ballet training. Included will be stretch and strength training, ballet video viewing, and variation study. Led by Myles Kercher, $120 for 4 afternoons, M-Th, 3:30-5:30pm SIGN UP
August 26, 28, 29 Pre-Pro Workshops, Ages 16+: Somatics & Ballet
This workshop is designed for advanced or pre-professional dancers who want to deepen their relationship with their body and technique through somatic practices. The schedule will be one of of somatic-informed warm-up, a 15 minute break, then a one hour 45 minute Ballet class. Pre-pro target age group: 16-26. It is also a great class for Ballet teachers, all ages welcome. SIGN UP
