February 2, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Announcing the rescheduled date of this fantastic workshop!

The classical and folk dances of India offer a rich tapestry of movement expressions, storytelling, and acrobatic skill. Every facet of the body is utilized and expressed through the dance and offers a glimpse into the power and beauty of the human body’s ability to express the realities of our ordinary lives as well as that of Infinite Consciousness. This masterclass will introduce students to the the technique and nuances unique to Indian dance and how we layer it on to belly dance movements to create a beautiful blend of the two. We will also touch on the history, mythology, and devotional elements that influence and support our dance.
