Carey McKinley moved to Gloucester in 2023 keen to develop her visual art practice and discover where it meets her dance practice. Taking a hiatus from teaching, she opened her first-ever visual art studio in 2024 on Main St. The upcoming Reception & Sale features McKinley’s recent work, alongside fellow dancer/visual artist, Sophia Dunzelman.
