SUMMARY:Dead End
DESCRIPTION:Dead End \nby Solstice Lauren \na special preview production of the new original play \nHigh school senior Faye is stricken with grief after the sudden death of her former best friend\, Foley. The night after Foley’s funeral\, the deceased eighteen-year-old comes to Faye in the form of a ghost or hallucination. As Faye’s world becomes ridden with guilt\, she turns to the unhealthy\ncoping mechanisms taught to her by her Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. Meanwhile\, Faye’s sister\, Rita\, and best friend\, Sara\, attempt to prove that Foley’s death was a suicide covered up by his parents. Dead End explores themes of youth mental health and friendship\, with a focus on the\nways children and teenagers often have their thoughts and feelings overlooked by the adults in their lives. SUMMARY:Dance performance: Broadchannel
DESCRIPTION:Broadchannel\na dance performance\, choreography by Mia Martelli\,  in collaboration with Sophia Dunzelman \nBroadchannel is a dance that visits childhood bedroom performance-making. The 2000s-era sounds\, drawings\, lighting\, poems\, and unfinished choreographies created in private are put on display and repurposed as a platform for contemporary questions around aging\, spirituality\, and environmental collapse. \nImprovised dances emerge in response to the rhythm\, colors\, and temperatures of Massachusetts Peninsulas. The rapture and horror of intensifying tides serve as non-fiction mythology\, shaking the prospect of building a future in a place surrounded by water. \n$15 at the door or online: BUY TICKETS NOW \n
